What We Are Doing

Right now the key focus for FUSE USA Inc. is  fighting Entergy's License Renewal Application for Indian Point by filing Formal Request For Hearing, and Petition to Intervene with our formal contentions. 

Planning a legal strategy aimed at protecting human health and the environment.  This includes holding the NRC accountable to upholding the 10 CFR Regulations as written.

How Public Can Become Involved

1. Attend all public meetings on Indian Point.
2. Co-sign onto FUSE filings submitted to NRC.
3. Request a hearing on License Renewal.

Key Reasons to Close Aging  Indian Point Reactors:

• Flawed Evacuation Plan
• Tritium and Strontium leaks into the environment and Hudson River.
• Failing Spent Fuel Pool structures.
• Potable water contamination.
• Failing reactor vessel heads.

Inadequate Fire Protections to assure safe shut down.             
   Relicensing Indian Point Is Not Worth The Gamble.  In the case of a major Nuclear Accident or Terrorist Attack at the Indian Point Reactor, no home owner in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut is covered for their losses.

Cancer rates are elevated around every nuclear reactor site in America, including leukemia, thyroid and breast cancer rates.
